I suppose it was only a matter of time before this blog got invaded by comments from douchebags like you. Until I read otherwise, I’ll be left with an unpleasant image of some bored unwashed imbecile sitting in his underwear writing bad things about good people because he doesn’t have any real friends to hang out with.
Like we really need more comments from people who think they know everything but haven’t got a clue. I can’t wait for THAT fad to end, (but it seems to keep on going.)

Most likely, you don’t know Ginevra, ’cause if you did, you wouldn’t be writing unpleasant diatribes.

(Authors note: Yes, I know that in writing this parody I’m just as bad as “bored”, but I’m having a bit of fun at his/her/it’s expense. So there. )

Not really sure what the issue is here…just like any other column on this blog, someone is writing about a genre of music that they’re interested in. What’s the problem?

Personally, I’m not really a fan of indie pop. I don’t buy indie pop albums and I don’t go to indie pop shows. It’s just not my thing. But a lot of other people do, and I don’t find a need to condemn them or stereotype them simply for liking the type of music they listen to. Glass houses, stones, etc.

Quite frankly, throwing around personal insults at someone you’ve never even met & hiding behind an anonymous username is not only childish but it’s cowardly as well. And if you find yourself to be so far above this type of music, at least have the guts to explain exactly what kind of grandly esoteric (or more likely, generically bland) types of music you value.

Simple concept: if you don’t have something nice to say, just shut your fucking mouth.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before one of these narcissistic hipster types started writing for the Pure Pop blog. Until I read otherwise, I’ll be left with an unpleasant image of this girl flailing around without rhythm to some irrelevant and gimmicky band with a six month shelf-life.
Like we really need more updates on some backroom show played by some nasally college dudes in ugly sweaters that not so secretly wish they could be the Beach Boys. I can’t wait for this fad to end.
